During the past ten years of OCT technology development, the scientific community has published more than 1,000 papers regarding its technical advantages and clinical uses.

Specific to the technology utilized in the Imalux Niris Imaging System, the Institute of Applied Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences has conducted studies involving more than 2,300 patients to characterize image performance and clinical utility of OCT. These efforts have resulted in 27 peer-reviewed clinical and technical papers and 36 international conference presentations. In addition, clinical investigations have been performed in association with prestigious medical institutions such as The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, The George Washington University Medical Center, The University of Florida, and The University of Texas, among other locations.
