Through the use of its Niris Imaging System, Imalux Corporation offers physicians a tool to support this goal – or at least reduce the number of visits necessary to diagnose and resolve the patient’s concerns. The Company’s products provide real-time, high spatial resolution imaging at the point-of-care in a variety of medical applications. OCT is a new imaging modality for visualization of tissue microstructure, especially in anatomical areas with stratified tissue. It has the ability to detect near-surface tissue abnormalities indicative of many diseases, including cancer, which established imaging modalities might not detect.
